ReThinc Advertising's Charity Dog Wash

Rethinc Advertising is located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. Driving down Goldwater Boulevard, past Rethinc’s building last Saturday, one would describe the scene very differently than any ordinary ad setting. Surrounded by the infamous Coach House bar, Poisoned Pen Bookstore, and a plethora of Old Town boutiques where dozens of dogs, all shapes and sizes, were being scrubbed for a good cause.
Rethinc Advertising’s 1st Annual ‘Rescue Rinse’ Dog Wash, a charity event for a local organization called AZ Rescue, went down without a hitch. Locals dropped by from 9am to 1pm Saturday, October 9th to support animals all over the Valley currently on the kill list. AZ Rescue dedicates their time, energy and resources to saving as many unwanted animals as possible.

“Our ultimate goal is to not exist; for there to be no need for AZ Rescue,” says Jennifer Berry, the founder of AZ Rescue.

Every item present at the Rescue Rinse was donated; from the organic dog shampoo to the water to wash the dogs. Rethinc Advertising’s Director of Marketing, Stephanie Riley explains, “Giving back to the local community is important. Nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something.”

Through promotional products, donations and dog washes, the company was able to raise over $1,500 for AZ Rescue with the help of many generous people and their pups.
