American Advertising Awards (ADDYS)
The American Advertising Awards is a process whereby recognized professionals review submitted creative material and, in as unbiased a manner as possible, judge whether or not the work advances the standards of advertising excellence, to what degree, and then honors it accordingly. The committee develops the Call to Entry, coordinates the Judging, and coordinates the Awards Presentation.
Communications/Publicity/Public Relations
This committee is responsible for promoting the visibility of the Club and its members through press releases, public service announcements, website etc. It also assists the Program Committee in seeing that the monthly notice is posted to the website.
AAF Metro Phoenix Golf Tournament
This year's tournament will be held on May 14, 2009 at the Legacy in Phoenix, Arizona. Registration and free range access starts at 11am and shotgun start is 1pm.
Fund Raising
AAF Metro Phoenix has several fund-raising events. Please contact the Committee Chair for more information.
Job Bank
This committee is responsible for administering the "job availability" service for the Club. This includes, but is not limited to, recording available jobs on our Job Bank Website each week.
Legislative
This committee maintains contact with State and National legislators. It searches legislative dockets for proposed legislation affecting advertising and prepares position statements on such proposals. It works with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office on an Advertising Review Program.
Membership
This committee is responsible for recruiting and promoting membership in the Club. A recruitment campaign is conducted annually in an effort to increase the Club's membership. Dues Structure: "Flex Plan" - designed for those who need more flexibility. $150 dues per year. Pays for each meeting with reservations. "Maximizer Plan" - designed for those who plan to attend almost all meetings. Annual fee $400 (may be paid in two equal installments. Includes 12 general membership meetings per year. Reservations required. "Corporate Flex Plan" - $500 per year. This plan allows for up to five members of a company to participate in Ad Club functions at member rates with at least one designated contact named as member (may be paid in two equal installments).
If you join the club after Nov. 1, 2006, membership prices are 50% less and are current through the end of our membership year, April 30, 2006.

adLib is the monthly e-newsletter of information and happenings of the Phoenix Ad Club. Programs
This committee arranges general membership meeting programs. It hosts out-of-town speakers and introduces them at the meetings. It also arranges for all audio-visual requirements and special meeting room requirements.
Public Service
The American Advertising Federation has a long-established and firm commitment to public service advertising to improve the quality of life for our neighbors and ourselves. Each year a deserving non-profit organization is selected, and a public service campaign is prepared to help that organization reach its communication objectives.
Publicity/Public Relations
This committee is responsible for promoting the visibility of the Club and its members through press releases, public service announcements, etc. It also assists the Program Committee in seeing that the monthly notice is mailed in a timely manner.
Reception
This committee assists at the registration table at general membership meetings, acts as "greeters" at each meeting, and works with the hotel to see that everything at the meetings runs smoothly. It also sells door prize tickets.
Scholarship/Education
This committee will establish a liaison with local and state educational institutions. The function of the club education liaison is to provide information about club programs to area schools, assist schools in arranging for advertising-related speakers, and coordinate student participation in AAF College Chapters and AAF student competitions.
Sunshine
This committee sends cards and flowers to members who are ill or are recovering from illness.
