My name is Bob Case.

Or at least it was.

At last year's ADDY Awards, I changed it to read
"2011 Phoenix-Metropolitan Creative Director of the Year Bob Case."

Cool, huh?

Do you wish your creative director could have a really long name like mine to put on his business cards, email signature, twitter hashtag, coffee cup and license plate frame?

Does he/she suffer for the work? Spend long hours inspiring greatness? Read a lot of important books? Mumble incoherently when you ask for direction?

If so, then here's your chance to see them rewarded. AAF Metro Phoenix (The Phoenix Ad Club) is pleased to accept nominations for its second annual Creative Director of the Year award. This is the GLORY AWARD (well, that's how I choose to view it) that will be presented to the most innovative and inspiring creative director in the Valley--as nominated by his/her peers, creative team, agency and/or client.

The Creative Director of the Year Award publicly acknowledges the creative director who has consistently conceptualized great ad campaign ideas for clients, brings vision/leadership/results, and who most inspires his/her creative team to follow their passions in pursuit of the best creative work.

Creative folks from agencies around the Valley are encouraged to submit nominations for consideration. Copywriters, art directors, agency owners, account management, etc. may nominate their favorite Creative Director who consistently knocks it out of the park. You're also welcome to solicit letters of support from clients or additional nominations from creative folks to support your nominations. We strongly encourage you to submit the Creative Director's reel with your submission; just house a video or slide show on your company website and provide us with a link for access.

Industry leaders within the creative community will review the submissions and select a winner. To assure fairness for all nominees, AAFMP will not disclose the panel of judges. The winner will be announced on March 10, 2012 at the ADDY Awards Gala.
